A Vietnamese cyclist saved the life of a puppy that was drowning in the river in southern Vietnam. 21 year old Hoang Minh is a hero and savior of the tiny little puppy. The entire rescue was caught on Minh’s helmet camera.

WARNING: Some viewers may find the following video disturbing.

“After taking the puppy from the water, I was very confused and just did what I did without thinking,” the hero cyclist told Vietnamese media, “I didn’t actually know the proper paramedic procedure,” he admitted.

Minh improvised by using a plastic bottle covered with tissue to help him give the dog air, after massaging the little dog’s body and attempting to get it breathing and conscious again.
